Under the direction of the School Board, the Superintendent of Schools oversees the daily operations and the long-range strategic planning of the school district, working directly with school leaders, district staff, and the school board in order to ensure: the advancement of the district vision and strategic framework; fiscal responsibility, including preparation and adoption of annual budget; development and implementation of policy; district management of day-to-day operations and decisions; quality stakeholder communication and public relations; and the development of student-focused performance goals.

Athletic Director, Brad Eaton, is in his 24th year in education.  He graduated from Southern Oregon University and earned his Master's in Teaching in 1999.  He started his teaching career in the Medford School District and came to Central Point School District 6 in 2004.  Brad worked at Crater High School as a Health and Physical Education Teacher and an assistant coach in Football and Track & Field.  In 2011, Mr. Eaton became an Assistant Principal at Scenic Middle School and in 2013 he became the SMS Principal, a role he held for 10 years. This year he returns to Crater High School and assumes the role of Activitites & Athletic Director.

Brad met his wife Amy when they were both students at Southern Oregon University where he played football for 4 years.  Brad and  Amy raised three children in Southern Oregon.  Madison, 26, graduated from South Medford and Oregon State University, and now lives in Nashville Tennessee where she is a nurse at Vanderbilt Medical Center.  Brady Eaton, graduated from Crater High School and is in his junior year at SOU where he plays football.  Blake Eaton, graduated from Crater High School and is in his junior year at Linfield University where he also plays football.  Brad and Amy enjoyed raising their children in Southern Oregon and taking advantage of all the amazing opportunities it offers to get outdoors. The Eaton family spent lots of time at Mt. Ashland, the Rogue River, and on our beautiful mountain lakes.  Brad is thankful for the amazing career opportunities he's had in D6, and looks forward to many more years serving this great school district and the communities of Gold Hill, Sam's Valley, & Central Point.

The Activities & Athletics Director oversees all aspects of student activities and athletic programs associated with Crater High School. This includes hiring coaches and activity advisors, ordering equipment, marketing events, budgeting and more.

Activities & athletic director duties include:

• Assisting the Principal in developing a quality athletic program
• Hiring advisors and coaches. Responsible for the orientation of all coaches regarding site and district policies, procedures and expectations; and ensures that all coaches comply with OSAA rules and procedures. Assures that players also adhere to the OSAA bylaws
• Verifies that all athletes are medically cleared, have insurance, have been released by parents, and have signed Code Of Conduct form
• Responsible for the development of all fall, winter, and spring sports schedules 
• Responsible for securing officials for all home events, and assists in the coordination of transportation for all away events
• Coordinates supervision and event staff for home competition
• Verifies that all athletes are academically eligible to compete
• Responsible for development and oversight of the Athletic Department budget. Approves all purchases made for Athletics
• Manages and maintains practice and playing facilities
• Supervises and evaluates head coaches
• Responds to parent concerns regarding athletic programs
• Serves as a liaison between the athletic booster groups, coaches, and site administration
• Oversees and approves all fundraising for athletics and activities

Mr. Seth Womack is joining Crater High School next year as Dean of Students. His personal mission is to develop meaningful relationships that are based on respect and integrity.

Mr. Womack brings 2 years of Dean experience from Redmond, OR. He has worked in education since 2005. He coached college football and was an adjunct professor for the education department for seven years. He taught in a High School classroom for four years and served as an Activities & Athletics Director for six years.

Mr. Womack earned a Bachelor's of Education degree from Westminster College (Missouri) and a Master's of Education degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He has also completed post graduate work at Southern Oregon University.

Mr. Womack and his wife live in District 6 and have two children that attend CPSD6 schools.

Under the direction of the principal, the Dean of Students provides administrative assistance in student supervision, specifically in attendance, discipline, guidance, and instructional leadership improvement.

• In collaboration with the school leadership, the Dean provides student supervision and interventions to students experiencing problems in discipline and attendance in our comprehensive high school setting.
• In collaboration with the school leadership, the Dean acts as a resource to teachers in their instructional practice, especially as it relates to issues of discipline, relationships with students, classroom management, and school culture.
• Monitors behavioral pull-out and in-school suspensions.
• Assists the school leadership in maintaining standards of pupil behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere and effective participation in all activities.
• Plans and implements programs designed to develop student character and discipline in accordance with District and school standards.
• Actively provides follow-up student discipline in regards to teacher and campus referrals.
• Confers with and advises with parents and school personnel in developing alternative solutions to student attendance and discipline problems and concerns.
• Serves as a resource to site and district personnel, parents and members of the school community. 
• Coordinates the planning, development and revision of students and teacher handbooks, manuals, orientation materials and forms.

Under the direction of the school principal, the Pathways Coordinator works closely with classroom teachers to assign classes and monitor academic progress. The Academic Advisor supports teachers in monitoring student progress of all students. This position is responsible for facilitating regular staffings with teachers to discuss and implement academic interventions and to monitor and evaluate student progress.
