Every enrolled student at Crater High is a member of the Student Body, and we help give voice to the Student Body by representing all Crater Comets before our peers, staff, administration, and community. We provide student perspectives on school policies and initiatives, work to build a supportive and authentic school culture, manage the expenditure of Student Body Funds, and plan engaging activities to enrich the experiences of all students who are part of Crater Nation. We hope you'll help us as we work to achieve these goals; your feedback is critical, and we are always grateful for your support.

The Crater High Associated Student Body Constitution
The Crater ASB Constitution gives structure to our leadership program as we represent the voices of our Student Body through our work. It serves as a living document that outlines many of the traditions that Crater students value, as well as the processes that make those traditions come to life. It was first approved by a campus-wide Student Body vote on November 9th, 2023.
Being in leadership means being able to be a part of something that not only helps to improve our school, but makes it a place where students have the ability to have fun and enjoy their high school years.

Crater ASB generates ideas and implements programs through organized Committees in each Leadership class. For the 2025 - 2026 school year, we have formed the following Standing Committees that meet each class period to carry out our goals:
Applied Activities Committee Mission Statement:A new and engaging event every week for our campus. Make Crater the most fun school in the world, have the highest participation, and the most positive student feedback.

Budget Committee Mission Statement:Budget committee maintains the mission of updating all funds/transactions in every budget committee meeting in the ASB class, as well as creating and managing a clear budgeting structure for the benefit of Crater High School and its events.

Dance Committee Mission Statement:Our plan is to create engaging, well decorated, and highly attended dances with original themes. Our goal: to break the record for the most sold tickets for our dances.

Additionally, we have the formed the following Ad-Hoc Committees that meet as needed:
All students interested in joining Crater ASB must submit an application and supporting materials before the published deadline. Qualifying candidates will then be asked to set a time for an interview with our ASB Application Committee. Finalists who score enough points on their application and interview may be asked to enroll in the Leadership courses and thus become a member of Crater ASB, depending on available space in each class.
Currently, ASB reviews applications only during the spring to fill open spaces for the upcoming academic year.

Applications can be found below, and all application materials must be submitted to crater.asb@district6.org by the deadline of Monday, May 11, 2026 before 11:59 pm.

Crater ASB can't achieve it's goals of building and sustaining school spirit without the help of our incredible Central Point community. We strive to be a worthy recipient of any support we receive, and are always grateful for donations or sponsorships.
